A Maine Wedding in the Fall // Kelli + Jordan
Kelli and I go way back. I’m talking wayyyy back. Like, all the way back to braces, uncontrolled and frizz filled, I don’t know what my hair is kind of hair (points finger at self) and the land of little notes folded into the shape of paper footballs to be handed off between classes. That’s right, folks. Kelli and I were Middle School besties. Kelli introduced me to the Starbucks frappuccino - that was an exciting car ride home for her mom, and we spent many afternoons laying around on the trampoline in the backyard talking about boys. Then I got to photograph THE day with THE boy, so that was all sorts of emotional torture in the best way.
These are good people right here. I realize I say that in every post, but we’re just pretty damn lucky to watch good people marry other good people in front of even more good people, on the regular. Ya know? The whole day was all love and hugs and the most palpable, genuine, joy-filled celebration. On top of that they were married in the mountains of Maine. In the fall. We puddle hopped all up some of those mountain creeks the day before - but that’s an adventure for another day. The moral of the story is that the location was a winner. Winner winner chicken dinner. Which ironically, was served up fried and crispy at their reception.
Here’s to two beautiful souls. You got married, you brought your pup with you, and you celebrated hard. We love you!
